kate of walmart

It's with (some, and obviously not enough) hesitation that I show this photo to the world wide web, but I seriously can't stop laughing about it. I also thought about possibly sharing another photo of my bruised, swollen and stitched up knees and feet as to explain why I was using the cart, but I've got some dignity left over here.

We started school yesterday. I'm taking 12 credits. I've had waaaaay too many semesters of 15's and 18's and I can't even believe how awesome 12 feels. 4 classes! All psych classes! All professors I adore! Go college! Landon on the other hand it taking 15 credits of math, science, and engineering. Go college?

All of my blog friends are quitting, and leaving the blogging world. (I'm looking at you, Kate!) I'm really bummed out about this. Remember that one friends Mom in high school that held onto 80's hair well into the 2000's? I guess blogging will be my 80's bangs, something I can't let go of, even for instagram. I've been here for 4+ years. I made it through the "lovely" and "horribly-over-edited-photo" stage for cyring out loud! I think I'll stick around a while longer.

Just some random thoughts for you Tuesday, I suppose.

p.s. those carts are hecka hard to drive.

This picture is hilarious. And I'll still be blogging seven years from now, too, so... I guess we're in the same boat?

Vahahaha. What I would give to purge my blog archives of "lovely" and those over-edited photos. i hope you stick around. And I hope the recovery is moving along (quickly)!

I hope I stay with you on the whole blog thing. Some days I'd prefer not to think about blogging... but really it's my only motivation to learn how to edit and take better pictures, journaling, etc. Also, I was laughing at myself about the over-editing stage too!! It's gross.
Glad you're doing well and college is treating you right! I miss college.

I LOVE THOSE CARTS! It was like, the one thing that comforted me when I hyper-extended my knee (again) a couple years ago. I thought, "Oh, bummer! This is so annoying. BUT I get to drive those awesome carts around the grocery store!" Embrace it, girl.

i was talking with robin the other day - you know, our ladle of love - about blogging... and how instagram and pinterest stole the rug right out from under blogging's feet. but i'm holding strong... even though readership has plummeted. robin said bloggers will be 'vintage' and make a comeback, like polaroids and pegged jeans and domesticity.

i'm waiting for my own revival. yours too. we'll ride this out even if we're the only two who still appreciate the written word.

K, so does the fact that you're probably the most attractive and fit person that cart has seen in a good long while make it any better? :)
Good luck to 15 credit Landon!

I love the title Kate of Walmart...reminiscent of "Jane of Pemberly Place" or something cool like that..haha.
I'm glad you are still a blogger, I am definitely a fan!

i know.. i suck.

but need i remind you, you did quit your blog for a WAY long time awhile back? maybe i'll make a smashing comeback in the next six months to a year, and i'll be like joaquin phoenix.. "i'm still here. i'm not dead."

Ahhh the "lovely" phase. Almost as bad as the "inspiring" phase! glad you persevered.

As for everyone stopping blogging. I,ll be hanging in there with you! I print mine into a family journal every year and I can't stop now. It makes it was to easy with a blog so I'll be here forever.

I just read the post about your accident, I'm sitting her crying!! You are amazing and have the best attitude. I'm so glad you guys are okay, and was thinking while I was reading, "why am I not still in Rexburg to take them ice cream, and dinner, etc?!"
And just so you know, you're the cutest person I've ever seen riding one of those carts!!

I'm so glad you're still blogging. Now that everyone is quitting or blogging less it makes me want to blog more again. I'm a contrarian like that. But then I got a nasty comment the other day so...
