i'm down

I am not a crafty person. I would consider myself artistic (can you say that about yourself?) but not crafty. I've expressed my feelings (and apparently Landon's) towards Hobby Lobby and after spending the last 2 hours making cake stands for our relief society party tonight I can say I've hit my 5 year quota of craftiness. a plate + a cup/bowl/vase + epoxy = the limit of craft I can handle.

Now, what am I supposed to do with 11 cake stands?

you can totally call yourself artist, because you are in every sense of the word.

i too hate crafting/fabric/glitter/weird scissors/tole paint/glue etc. it never turns out the way i envision it, and i usually leave it half way done anyhow.

and welcome to the story of my life.

donate those puppies to DI. you'll make some little thrifters dream come true on a saturday (and watch for it on blogs. you're bound to someone showcasing what they "found!")

whoa...kate. easy on the sarcasm.

seriously. how much?

you should sell them on bulletin board. also, if the bottom is condusive you can use them as dip platters.

Yeah I'm all about forgetting the "crafts" in arts & crafts. But you've inspired me to make a pie stand bc I'm all about pie over cake. And by "make" I mean "buy" . . .

I want them for my wedding reception :) But that might now be for another 4 years or maybe 5. And I say you are an arteest (I really mean artist but I think is sounds cool if said with a french accent, if that is a french accent?)

yuck. I'm not crafty either! We recently had a relief society thing and I signed up to make a bunch of stuff. It was all really cute and then after almost finishing one I left. It was too much for me. I have no patients for it and have not even thought about attempting to finish one of the projects I bought. People always assume I'm crafty because I LOVE to refinish furniture but it's very different.

Cute stands! I am impresses. I too, have the same feelings towards hobby lobby. I like them for their furniture knobs only. I want to scream swear words at all the "Live, Laugh, Love" signs and trinkets otherwise.
