5.2.12

it's half time, America

I'm blogging about the Super Bowl before it's even over. But to be perfectly honest the only thing it did for me was give me an excuse to eat Super Bowl food and remind me how much I love Clint Eastwood (as if I forgot!) And seriously, Maddona? #uncomfortable (...this subject needs to be it's complete own blog post, what is it with pop stars? I am so embarrassed for them.)

We were talking about Madonna's age - 54. I made the connection that my mom was around 54 when I got married and was also a grandma.

I like to picture pop stars with different heads. It seems totally ridiculous if you put your mom up there doing the same moves.

so funny--that's all I could say while watching Madonna, I'm so embarrassed for her. It wasn't too crazy, and yes, her outfit was pretty modest, and yes she's in great shape and looks great for her age, bla bla bla....but its just awkward when an older lady tries too hard to be hip. And also unflattering were her spread eagle dance moves. Ya, lets not...

Clint should run for president. With a speech like that, I'd vote for him.

And now lets talk about your darling skirt! You've got mad style, Lines.

Kate - so glad you commented on my post! I basically thought you had been abducted by aliens since the last time I tried to check your old blog, it had clearly been taken over by NOT you. I talked to Angela about it and she said you have a different blog and then I never found it. But here I am. Hi. :)

Basically, I think we would be really, really good friends if we lived in the same town.

you summed up my feelings about madonna perfectly; i seriously felt uncomfortable watching the half time show. ew.

brian left the room for a few minutes near the end of the game, and when he came back he was so impressed i hadn't changed the channel. ha. i was just too tired.

also, you're cute. like, really cute.
