2.11.11

even though this really doesn't matter

This semester is kicking my trash. I am going to tell you everything homework related I did yesterday okay? Wrote a 500 word annotation on Hereditary Talent and Character by Francis Galton, watched 8 power points on various volcanoes and put the information into an excel sheet, wrote an outline for chapter 9 of my Adult Development book, studied two study guides, took TWO tests, finished up reading an extra long research article, outlined a bunch of Old Testament verses, do-re-mi'd it up studying for my music test and took a reading quiz. AND went to school, work, rehearsal, and did clean checks.

All my friends have babies, so all of you can precede to tell me everything you did yesterday too. Then I will tell you I'd rather be doing that... or snuggling baby Brigham. (Chels posted here. Baby boy is a fighter! And so adorable!)

I like being a student. But not today okay?

I'd rather be doing what I do too. I'm glad I am done with school. I'm supposed to do 12 credit hours of work to renew my teaching certificate. I am dragging my feet on that one.

School is tough, no doubt about it.
You are doing a great job though - there is nothing as sweet as the satisfaction of putting to rest a long and horrid semester. You should throw yourself a celebrate kate day at the end with all of your favorite things.

Ahhhh, I can't say I miss the student life and all the crazy busy-ness (is that a word?) that comes with it!!! Are you taking Adult Dev. from Bro Whoolery? If you are, enjoy his class for me. He was my favorite teacher, I absolutely loved him!!!! You're amazing and we miss you guys!!!

And you're so much freaking smarter than all us moms! As soon as babies come along you can literally feel your brain shrinking. So, for now, maybe you can take some solace from the fact that you are a much more interesting person than most of us. :)

You're doing awesome lady!

lately i've been wishing i could do grad school but i think you've cured me. i forget about all the stay-up-til-3-writing-a-paper nights. and your day just sounds insane!

so glad baby brigham is fighting.

woaaaa. are you super woman or something because just reading that made me want to blow my brains out. [not literally of course - that would be awful] but seriously girl. that is one busy day and i now realize that i should work harder to be equally productive with my time.
