i do like you, idaho

The main reason I complain about Idaho is because my family lives too far away. But seriously? Summers in Idaho are the stuff of dreams. 80 degrees, warm and sunny, hiking/camping/climbing/kayaking all within 20 minutes of the burg. Our semester will end in 5 weeks and we'll have a 6 week break. This is our summer list:

Hike Table MountainGet to the top of the Paramount climb. Visit the Farmers Market. 2 day hike into Jenny's Lake. West Yellowstone to see all my peeps at Playmill. Kayak the snake river. Canoe the snake river. Golf at Heise. Day trip to Civil Caves. Climbing/camping trip to City of RocksDay trip to Mesa Falls.

Bring it on.

that photo is so pretty! i love the bright green. and it's times like this when i'm feeling the urge to be A LOT more outdoorsy--all those hikes/trips sound like so much fun!

and to your last post...you definitely deserve to feel that way. the only thing worse than being far from family is not being able to start a family of your own yet either. hope you have a great week this week :)

hey we'll be at west yellowstone too in only a few weeks, and probably see a show at the playmill. gregg's family has a cabin in island park, so we go basically every summer. playmill's fudge is the stuff of dreams.

The farmers market is the best! Sooo many yummy fruits and veggies for cheap. I'm really missing Idaho's weather now that I'm living in the Valley in the summer. Enjoy the weather for me!

That sounds so much fun. Beautiful weather though? Maybe I'm a little too cold blooded but it seems as though the sunny warm weather lasts for an hour and then it gets cold and rainy again. I have yet to go to school without a sweater in hand.

Your adventures sound like so much fun! I hope it's sunny and warm the next few weekends!

P.S. I totally stopped exercising. School and sleep took over. I should probably change that.

Idaho has the BEST summa summa summa time ever. Looks like you dudes have a full agenda packed with awesomeness!!!!

p.s. we did a family vaca to City of Rocks/Twin Falls 2 yrs ago, super cool. we heard about Balance Rock and drove around for like 6 hrs looking for it. If you happen to find the mysterious Balance Rock take a picture because I don't believe it really exists!
